learned to piece quilts from her grandmother when she was a child. She resumed quilting twelve years ago. Anne started her long arm machine quilting business in the year 2000. She has quilted over 300 quilts since she began Flamingo Quilting and Design.

Awards include a second place in machine-quilted, wall hanging at the Quilters Guild of Arlington Show in 1998 and an honorable mention in hand-quilted, wall hanging at Quilt Plano 99, first place ribbon for group quilt, Quilt Plano 03. Anne is an active member of both the Quilters Guild of Plano and the Frisco Quilt Guild.
